I met Shannon the day she was born, I was 9 years old and would run home from school every day hoping my Mom’s car would be gone. It was my way of knowing if they were at the hospital waiting for my little brother or sister to be born. I didn't know it at the time, but January 4th, 1999 would be a day that would change my life forever. That day I met my little sister & my future best friend. Being almost 9 years apart meant we were not always BFFs. I had my jealous moments when my friends were more interested in my baby sister than me or my moments of frustration when I could not have parties or stay out late because I had a little sister who looked up to me. However, over the past 15 years the bond I have with my sister is something I wish everyone could experience. She is always there for me & my children, she is the calm to my crazy and truly the best sister and best friend anyone could ever wish for. I am so excited for Shannon and Matt to start their lives together and be a part of this special day”.
