Shannon and Matt first met in 2018 during their freshman year of college. Shannon attended Gwynedd Mercy University, where she was a dual sport athlete. Matt attended Gwynedds rival school Cabrini University, where he majored in political science and played baseball.


Shannon is currently a fourth grade elementary teacher in Philadelphia. She is also very involved in the school’s athletic programs.


Matt is an entrepreneur who works as a lead sports analyst while also owning his own company.


Shortly after meeting through a mutual friend, Matt asked Shannon on their first date to the Philadelphia Zoo.


This was the first step towards the rest of their life together.


Since they made it official, six years ago, Shannon and Matt have traveled to countless places together, shared their love for their dog Sunny, and soaked up their summers in Ocean City New Jersey.


Because of their mutual love for the shore, Matt decided to pop the question on the boardwalk of OCNJ, where they later were able to celebrate with their family and friends.


Shannon and Matt are both excited for this next step together, all the new memories to come, and love to share with all.
